Wild + Free Arrows Co.

January 2, 2021 – this was days before God would reveal the seed He planted for our future.

We’ve dreamed of leaving something behind for our kids for as long as we’ve had them. When we became parents in 2012 we had the realization most parents do – our lives are not our own.

Baking is an opportunity for us to provide for our family. Starting this company is a leap of faith, God opened the door for us to embark on entrepreneurship and we dove right in!

We don’t expect our kids to pick up our bakery when we can no longer run it. That’s why our company name isn’t associated with baking or bread at all. We want our company to remind us of the promise God gave us in our children. After countless comments and looks from family and strangers alike about how many kids we had in a short time (4 in 3 years!), it started to take a toll on me, emotionally and mentally.

It wasn’t until I read Psalm 127:3-5 that God gave me freedom. God tells us that our children are a reward! Our children are our weapons! I found so much power and release in those verses and it completely changed my perspective on having a larger than average family.

Wild and Free Arrows Co. is the ultimate umbrella company. We started it with God in the center and just handed him the reigns to take it where he sees fit. Right now it’s a bakery and the Strike The Ground podcast. But the future is unknown to us and we’re happy and expectant! Ultimately it’s for our children!

Every time I look, read, and write our company name I want to be reminded of the rewards and weapons God gifted us with. I never want to feel like I have “too many kids” ever again. I pray that this company grows with my kids and shows them the importance of perseverance and dedication. I’m excited to see where Wild + Free Arrows Company is taken as my arrows grow up!

Check out our Origin Story in this video and the amazing story behind why we started a podcast!

“Behold, children are a gift of the Lord, the fruit of the womb is a reward. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior, so are the children of one’s youth.Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them; they will not be ashamed when they speak with their enemies in the gate.”
